So far, so good! I have gotten a great response from people all over the country who are running marathons, raising money and adopting--a trifecta. It is perfect.
I am building a google map of all of our race locations and dates so that we can add it to blogs, track runners and etc. If you are running in a Fall or Spring Marathon, let me know and I will add you.

I have been a long distance runner for over half of my life. I have logged thousands of miles running. I have raced nearly every distance except for an ultra-marathon and will compete this November in the Richmond Marathon.
This will be the first time, however that I will be running for a reason other than trying to win or for a fast time. I will be running to inspire you to be inspired by the hungry children of Ethiopia.
There are lots of reasons these kids are hungry; rising food costs, weather, unjust governments, but at the end of the day children are hungry. I want to help but I can't do it alone.
I am raising money for UNICEF. They do great work and are making a huge difference—they build wells, distribute PlumpyNut, and change lives.
My goal is to raise $100 for every mile of the race that will feed nearly 2000 children for a day. This certainly won't solve the problem, but won't hurt either.
